Steps to Get Services

  1. Speak with your pediatrician regarding an evaluation for diagnosis.
  2. Obtain a diagnostic report from a psychologist that states your child's diagnosis and behaviors exhibited.
  3. Obtain a referral for ABA intervention
  4. Contact Griffin Behavioral Solutions to request services 
  5. Griffin Behavioral Solutions will put in a request for an Assessment to determine need.
  6. Completion of an assessment followed by a review with caregivers covering all long term goals, methodology, and hours being recommended for services.
  7. After submittal of the assessment, Griffin Behavioral Solutions will  put in a request for ongoing services
  8. Once the authorization to provide services is received from the insurance company, Griffin Behavioral Solutions will set a schedule for intervention sessions.

The Assessment Process

An  independent assessment consists of six components:
  1. A thorough review of all pertinent records provided by parent
  2. Interviews with  individuals active in the child's life
  3. Naturalistic observations in multiple environments (often home, school, and community)
  4. Systematic manipulations of environmental factors
  5. Analysis of data collected
  6. Written report of findings with detailed account of skill levels, individualized goals, and a behavior support plan
